- No PPE is required under normal operation.
- If a printer malfunctions, stop immediately, tag it with an Out of Order sign, and report in Slack #area-3d-printing
- Pre-Print Checklist
- Inspect build plate for cleanliness and damage
- Confirm filament is an approved type and brand (see Allowed Filaments list)
- Check AMS for correct loading
- Only plastic spools in the AMS (no cardboard)
- Cardboard spools can be used in the external dryers
- Ensure the correct printer profile is selected in Bambu Studio
- Clean and dry bed plate with warm water and soap in layup (optional, but gives best results)
- Stay nearby for the first layers to confirm adhesion
- Use only approved slicer software and profiles
- Do not attempt to override safety features
Remove your print and dispose of rafts, supports, and failed pieces
Return tools and tidy the workspace
