Any important information should go here. Warnings, updates, notices, that sort of thing. They should be bold and italic.
The Metal Shop has an assortment of fasteners, and a selection of metal shapes, sheets, and lengths that are free to use.
Cut it, weld it, grind it, shape it — our Metal Shop is built for makers who like to work with a little heat and noise. From sculpture to small-scale fabrication, you’ll find the tools and mentors you need to make sparks fly (safely, of course).
- Please note that no cutting, grinding, or sanding of fibreglass or carbon fibre is permitted in the Metal Shop, or anywhere in the lab. No magnesium or magnesium alloys are permitted to be worked on, as we lack the capability to work with this material safely.
