The board of directors is made up of Officer Positions which are formally listed on legal documentation as well as informally assumed, non-officer positions.
== Officer Positions ==
=== President ===
The President is the public face of Kwartzlab, and chief executive officer. They make sure everyone has the chance to have their voice heard and help navigate any tricky interpersonal situations
===Chair===
The Chair organizes meetings and sets the agenda, keeps them on track, and makes sure the rules are followed
===Treasurer===
The Treasurer takes care of membership dues, monthly reporting, budgets, and any other financial stuff that occurs at Kwartzlab. The treasurer is typically fueled by caffeine which may be consumed in alarming amounts at times.
===Secretary===
The Secretary is in charge of keeping the membership register, taking meeting minutes, and sending out correspondence.
==Non-Officer Positions==
===Assistant Treasurer===
Assists the treasurer on an ongoing basis. Provides caffeinated beverages to the Treasurer at their request
===Membership Coordinator===
The membership coordinator is in charge of making sure that membership applications are processed smoothly and helping new members with the on-boarding process.
===Director at Large===
While there are no specific duties assigned to the final director position, there’s certainly no shortage of tasks to help out with!
