Printer

Kwartzlab has 3 Bambu Lab P1S 3D printers available, with the following key features:

  • 256mm x 256mm x 256mm enclosed printing area
  • 0.4mm nozzle allowing layer heights from 0.08mm (Fine) to 0.28 (Draft)
  • Supports up to 4 color filament printing with the attached AMS
  • Detects filament runout and allows resumption of prints
  • Supports PLA, PETG and TPU (See Allowed Filaments)
    • Note: TPU printing is only allowed on Po (Bambu #1), and filament must be manually loaded (No AMS!)

Automatic Material System (AMS)

Each of our Bambu Lab P1S printers has an Automatic Material System (AMS) attached to it. This accessory allows up to 4 different filament spools to be loaded at the same time for multi-colour or multi-material printing.

See Multi-color Printing for more information and helpful tips.
