Own a Building Crew

Kwartzlab rents the space it occupies, so there is no guarantee that we'll always have this space, especially with downtown Kitchener development ratcheting up. The ultimate solution would be for Kwartzlab to own a building, either the one we're in or a different one that would suit our needs.

The Own A Building Committee is an early stage group looking at the various aspects of owning a building, including how Kwartzlab can qualify for a commercial mortgage, what buildings are for sale that could work for us, how much said buildings cost, and so forth. Members of the Own A Building committee include Drew R, Andrew N, Cam T, Sarah J, John P, and David K.
