Tuesday Open Nights (also know by the acronym "ToN" or "TON") are a regularly occuring open-to-the-public event on Tuesdays between 7 and 10pm.  Guests are welcome to attend to get a member-guided tour of the lab, work on projects, share crazy ideas they want advice/help on, and request an interview to apply for membership.

Members will provide a guided tour of the space and its equipment, and may highlight any specific areas or equipment that are of particular interest, either to the guest(s) or the member.  Guests are welcome to hang out in the [[Front Room]] or [[Fabtronics]] to socialize, but must be supervised by a member if in any other part of the lab.

It is tradition for some members to gather at a local restaurant after TON for food, drinks, and sharing bad ideas and jokes.  Currently the patio at Crabby Joe's in Kitchener on King and Frederick is the preferred destination.

Parking can be found behind Crabby Joe's accessed by Goudie's Lane (the alley) between Frederick and Queen Streets.  The [https://goo.gl/maps/dLhE5CvTTCJsxvfE6 uncontrolled lot just off of Queen] is preferable to the controlled lot designated for Crabby Joe's.  The uncontrolled lot is free after TON, the restaurant's lot is free after validation.
